My trip to Ipoh

During this National Day, I go to Ipoh with my bf for makan-makan trip and stay one night at Tune Hotel. This is the first time I stay at Tune Hotel, although the room is small but is very clean and comfortable. It’s quite fun to travel there.

We start our journey around 8am and reach Ipoh town around 10.30am. Is time for us to have our breakfast so we go to 富山to take dim sum. Woah! Is so pack there, after looking for table all around the restaurant finally I get one table for two of us. The dim sum there is nice and is the best I had before but my bf told me this is not the best yet. He said I will taste the best one in November during our trip to Hong Kong. Let’s see what we have.

After this heavy dim sum we go to Ipoh Parade for a shopping. After around 2 hours walk is time for my bf to have coffee so we go to the origin of “Old Town White Coffee outlets”- Nam Heong to have white coffee and egg tart. I am not a coffee lover so I can’t really tell how the taste of coffee is but my bf said is great. I like their egg tart is warm to eat.

I find this interesting elements at the chinese herbal shop beside Nam Heong coffee shop. It is real star fish which are selling there.

After coffee, we check-in to Tune hotel.  As I said before, the room is small but is still comfortable for 2 people.

After a short break we go to Gunung Lang. This place is not very well maintain but is still a lot of people go there.  There is a water fall there but is fake one.

We have our dinner at安记芽菜鸡. This time we order沙河粉instead of order rice. The food is nice but my bf and me still feel that老黄(next to安记)is nicer.

 After our dinner, we walk around to buy some biscuit to bring back home such as 余合炭烧香饼,鸡仔饼…We see this old shop selling interesting mooncake. They are selling angry bird mooncake and 12 Chinese zodiac animals.

 

 

 

 

 

Day 2, we go to the coffee opposite nan heong to have our breakfast. We order 1 plate of 猪肠粉。Woah is so yummy, when decide to order 2^nd plate but the boss tell us that the plate we have is the last already. Haiz…so sad.

After our breakfast we go to eat豆腐花. Their 豆腐花is very soft. I like it very much.

We  buy this 盐焗鸡 to bring back home for my brother to enjoy.

Before we go back to KL, we go to eat at this restaurant. Is about 45 min form Ipoh, the food is nice but their prawn is a bit expensive.
