Last few week my friend give me a huge mango and I can’t finish it so decided to cook this Thai desserts called 'kanom'. Actually I never make this before and this is the very first time for me to make this. Although is my first time but this dessert is yummy and my church member also love it. Hehehe…
Ingredients
2 cups glutinous (sticky) rice, soaked in cold water for overnight and drained
150ml coconut milk (packet)
A pinch of salt
5 Tblsp. of sugar
2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
Preparation
1. First steam the glutinous rice for 40 min. In the meantime boil and stir coconut milk, salt, sugar and some water.
2. After the rice is cooked, pour the coconut milk into the rice and mix well.
3. Put the rice a side for 15-20 minutes.
4. At serving time put the rice on a plate and top with mango or even strawberries.
